probably one of the worst ideas i have ever had … or been talked into .

i wasted myself 3 times pretty hard and landed 2 really nice ,

Bak is the LogMaster!

This weekend was the LogMasters contest at Beaver Creek.It is an un-sanctioned event held in the trees with about 50 invited riders and works like this: you get three tries on each log and get points or negative points depending on the tricks you do. This year, Matty P from Breck and Rob Bak were in the event for CAPiTA.

The first log is called “Jimmy Delog” and Bak did it switch first try getting off to a nice start. He ended up winning the thing after ripping 11 logs on his first attempt with 2 of those being switch. He also got the lowest score ever at the contest. Nice work!

Kicker Fucker Chicken

In an age of seemingly redundant and played colab-a-thons, there are still a few that pop up that are really really sick.This one is Kicker Fucker Chicken (one of my favorite brands in the world) and a Japanese snowboard company called Death Label. My friend Tosh’s wife made it by hand. It took her 45 days and she used 40,000 “gems”. Amazing.

The season is in full swing and it feels good. So stoked to be able to get out and ride all different types of terrain. The season always goes so fast for me, one day its on, the next day it’s already summer.

fresh capita breakdown: brisse going mental, logging footage like mad; tj snowboard realms up to episode 18 now, shredding wild (like i mean WILD); jonas the bonus filming for TWS, lurking in the USA, driving a pickup like he should when in N. america; dustin filming for TWS as well, at the Session currently (w/tj, brisse, jonas and blue), leaving for europe with Oakley soon; lepore racing track bikes, runnin’ his shop and shred dogging when he can…..where the gang (as a whole) has been, so far: breck, keystone, salt lake city, golden, edmonton, calgary, smithers, terrace, cypress mtn, munich, tahoe, utah backcountry, vegas, vail…next up: japan, europe, more USA for bonus, everyone filming and shooting photos, high fives, cuddles, long plane rides, hotel rooms, spotty internet, more snowboard realms, cel phone bills, missing girlfriends and wives, stinky boots, language barriers, weird food, seeing friends from far away (& making new ones), credit card bills, and pure love of shred.tj & dan. edmonton, AB.
