BRISSE WINS DOWNTOWN THROWDOWN!

It was a good day of shredding at the first contest held on the steps of the Seattle Seahawks stadium. Good riding and good vibes were enjoyed by all. It was a close one, but our very own Dan Brisse laid it down and ended up on top at the end of the day. Truly stoked, the Minnesota native got a check for four thousand dollars. What do you do when you win more money than you've ever won before? Well Dan had (1) Pacifico, (1) Corona, (1) Heiniken Light, a 12 dollar cheeseburger, and asked if we can go see "Borat". Dan Rides for CAPiTA, Union, Volcom, Celtek, The Youth Shelter Supply, and IS design. Thanks to Krush, Burtner, and everyone that helped put on the event!! d1.jpgd2.jpgd3.jpgd4.jpg

Shred Nashe! Steven's Pass Opening Day

Here's the report: Last year's opening days in Washington State were unbelievable pow days. This year we were looking good with heavy precipitation and mountain snow in the Cascades all last week. Everyone was getting excited once again, booking plane tickets, making plans, and getting their new boards dialed in. The photos I saw from around the region early this week indicated another insane opening, but warmer temps on Wednesday resulted in rain at the resorts washing away much of our base. Luckily it cooled down a bit and Steven's Pass is on top of it from a grooming standpoint and had things ready for opening day today. Tyler Lepore was down for Mt. Baker's opening, and Dan Brisse came in town for the rail jam at Seahawk's Stadium. We took a crew up for some turns, and it was really fun. Sunny skies, fast groomers, rails, boxes, and one small but fun jump in the park were more than any of us expected. Some mean carves went down, box moves, and even some full rotations off the jump. Beers were cracked, high fives were slapped, it was an awesome first day. Thanks to everyone at Steven's for having us and making something for everyone to shred since there's no pow! Much love, blue P1010839.JPG My new set up rules! Indoor Survival 158 with Orange Union Forces P1010843.JPG Tyler knows how to Euro Carve!
