BRISSE DEVOURS EVERYTHING

In case you missed it, Power Pony aka Jess Kimura won a couple more TWS Awards to add to her stash, winning both Women's Rider of the Year, and Reader's Choice awards!

This past weekend at Mt Baker Ski Resort in Washington State the 2013 Legendary Banked Slalom was held - once again with one of the heaviest line ups of current and past pro shreds ever assembled. Competing were the likes of Terje Haakonson, Jamie Lynn, Nicolas Mueller, Travis Rice, Chris Roach, Shaun Palmer, Scott Wittlake and many many others along side CAPiTA's own Scott Stevens, Jess Kimura, and Laura Hadar. This was the ultimate who's who of the professional snowboard industry. Under sunny skies and with recent snow the event was definately magical.

X Games Real Street went down this afternoon, two stage jam format madness.

 

Brisse was attacking the course, big gap to boards, cab 270s to front board, and so on..advancing him to the final, but not to the podium today.

 

Big love, shakas and high fives to both Brisse and Kokubo for representing CAPiTA at X Games. And congrats again on the Real Snow silver, Burgs!

Congrats to Dan Brisse, X Games Real Snow silver medal!

 

Kazu Kokubo shredded in the Superpipe qualifiers this evening, ending up in 13th - just out of finals qualification. Bummer, but his runs were ripping regardless! And during heavy snowfall, no less.

 

Events continue tomorrow, with Brisse taking part in the Real Street event at 1:30pm. Check it out on ESPN or the interwebs. Post and photos to follow.
