We just had a major scare. 80% of our boards for North America were in one shipment from our factory, and the container got broken into somewhere along the way. Because of Homeland Security, anything that happens like that inside the Port Authority is considered a breach, and Customs siezed our shipment for the last 2 weeks. We've been stressing, but it's all over now. Today it was cleared and Booyah! boards are in the warehouse. We'll be working our asses off for the whole next month shipping. Look out suckas.... today was the day that we the kids went to play , i stole dustin and branded him for life , literally ! i tattooed part of his shoulder ( pedal at 12 , i did 2 blue sections of highlights)

Man, it's hot over here. Sweating as i'm typing. Fading in and out of focus. The bottles of water they feed me are not so cold and have bubbles in them. I wonder if it helps. I'm in Austria working on new ideas for the 2007 / 2008 board line. Things are coming together despite the heat. Jonas Carlson came to visit last week and we went snowboarding in Italy. It was awesome. Italy is awesome. JC is super good at snowboarding. We rode new stairmaster construction make ups. 4 versions, and we just kept rotating boards. It was sweet. I'm going back to Italy for the weekend. I like it there. I'm going to Lake Como. Brad Pitt and George Clooney live there. Maybe i'll see them, and we can mix cocktails and say witty things and laugh about the times we had filming Ocean's Twelve. I can see it now. I'll be chill, and wait for the perfect moment to slip in some social commentary. Brad will wink, and George will chuckle, and we will all clink glasses and walk down to the yacht. Until that happens, I'm going to visit one of our friends and partners who claims to be the "terje haakonsen" of the lake. It's a bold claim, but he's sweet. I can't wait. It's 35 ºC outside. That's 95 ºF for the Americans. My laptop thermometer says the cpu is 147 ºF. I can probably fry an egg on it. This is CAPiTA's new site. You will like it. It's one of the reasons I'm not at the beach. We're also hammering out the graphics for 2008. That's right, at CAPiTA we do some serious time traveling. But it's also another reason why I'm not at the beach. So grab yourself a glass of cold lemonade, lean back, and electronically saunter your way thru the 39 reasons I wasn't at the beach last year. Afterwards hop on your bike and ride down to the ocean. Get a little sun time on my behalf. While there you can think of all the ways you will scrounge and swindle in the coming months for some scrill to get three or four of these decks.
