Dustin's Fun Pipe Jam at "the Show"
The annual world ski & snowboard festival (WSSF) is going on in Whistler right now. "the Show" featured a few days of shred events, including a slopestyle and a mogul attack. Yesterday (apr 19th) was Dustin's Fun Pipe Jam, presented by Monster, with help from CAPiTA. The "contest" was a jam format, fun free for all. Cash was awarded for style, best 360, highest airs and the top three spots. Dustin blasted the highest airs, but being a gentleman, he left the cash up for other shreds. Fun was had on a day full of snow, wind, sun and most other weather patterns you can think of. (except rain, thankfully).

The Vanilla Brown Bear
AKA Phil Jacques, is a shred machine. Seen here in Anchorage, AK last spring. (Just a little photo that snuck through the cracks, so to speak). Stay tuned for the fall 2011 release of CAPiTA team film #2. So secret we haven't even released a title yet. Believe us when we say that the team has been working their asses off to stack footage! Nicknames, boardbags, travel woes, shoveling, dodging cops and avalanches, digging out sleds and so on.....

SLEEPY BOX!
Mr. Stevens had a chance to get clacky with his signature feature up at Snoqualmie the other day. WTF is going on here, you may ask? Sorry, no full leaky leaks 'til the CAPiTA flick numero dos drops. If you use your imagination, you might be able to figure out what innovative maneuver is occuring. Probably not though, it's some Scotty Steeeves scheisse. Holla atchya boi!

Watch the Realms, Then Help Japan
Here at CAPiTA Super Corp, we love Japan. You should too! It's a magical place full of wonder, inhabited by the kindest humans you will ever meet. (The above snow monkeys aren't too kind, mind you....) Needless to say, we have been heartbroken by the recent events. Our thoughts continue to go out to those affected.

Japan Blast 2011
Small crew headed to Japan for a quick Slope contest tickle, then a handful of days in Nozawa & Hakuba. Full weather range experienced, from springlike to pow and back again in a matter of days. As always, onsen soakings and good food abounded. As did yabai times with good friends both new and old. Thanks to JT and the whole CPI crew! As well to Yuta (both of 'em), Shibu-san, Endo and NW Katfish! Onsen balls for life.

LIKE A BOSS! DUCT TAPE at LBS for BLUEMONT!
NBD, our boss and faithful leader Mr. Blue Montgomery won himself the bronze duct tape in the Pro Masters division! On his first visit to the LBS, if you can believe that! Not to mention, other CAPiTAlists came through winners as well: Benny Pelligrino with a bronze in mid masters; Jacob Krugmire with a silver in young ams; and Milo Malkoski took silver in the next gen division. TAKING OVER.
