In American folklore the Krakow is an intelligent and magical being.
The creature’s strength increases with age, wisdom, and life experience. They’re born in animal form and gain the ability to morph into a human appearance when each creature reaches a certain age, usually 100 years.
They prefer to assume the shape of a beautiful woman, young girl, or elderly man and the creatures have the ability to clone the appearance of a specific individual.
They can willingly manifest themselves in people’s dreams and create illusions so elaborate that they are perceived as reality.
The Krakow can fly, become invisible, and oftentimes generates fire or lightning. In some regions of the world the creatures can bend time and space, changing the course of history.
