I’d say Johnny Brady. When that kid has a healthy winter he's gonna blow minds.

MUSIC! I freakin love it, I need it everyday of my life. My girlfriend Diana is a big influence too. She does everything for me.

How was filming for the new CAPiTA movie DEFENDERS OF AWESOME?

Filming for DOA ruined my life. Its gonna be hard to top that experience. It was seriously the best thing EVER.

What is the secret to Defending Awesome?

The secret is in the sauce.

What is the most awesome thing you can think of?

Ok. Most awesome thing ever would be snowboarding with aliens on an alien planet. A powder planet where everyday is a powder day! Oh and also there is less gravity on this planet!

What is the least awesome thing you can think of?

Least awesome thing would be traveling millions of light-years to get to that planet and then realizing you forgot your boots.

Who's part are you most excited to see?

I’ve seen a lot of the parts I was excited to see. Jed’s part in shoot the moon was ridiculous and they used that Mazzy Star song ahaha. So great!

Why do you ride for CAPiTA?

Blue and crew are like family, the boards are all time, and they stand for all the right things in snowboarding. Someone needed to defend awesome. Who better than CAPiTA?

What have you been doing in the off-season?

In the summer I ride Mt. Hood almost everyday. And when I’m not snowboarding I’m biking, skating, swimming, eating, fishing and playing music all at the same time.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live and why?

I'd live in Truckee, CA! You get the best of both worlds there.

What's rad in snowboarding?

Expression and growth.

What sucks in snowboarding?

Stereotypes and fake relationships.

Who do you normally snowboard with?

In Truckee, I ride with my friends Taylor Carlton, Dan Conroy, Brett donkey Davis, and Sam Ferrell. It’s always a blast with those dudes.

What do you think it takes to 'make it' in the shred world?

Well there are 5 things you can do to make it (according to a very wise man)

What's important, in general?

It is important to SMASH LIFE. Live it up baby.

What gets you stoked outside of shredding?

Morning coffee, putting on a record, enjoying good company, rainy days, the Rubik’s cube, the beach, riding my bike to the top of a hill, jamming with friends...that kind of stuff.

What is the single greatest band in the history of the world?

Wow good question. THE BEATLES!
