CAPiTA Week At Woodward Copper

Read Article

One of the best parks in the world for summer snowboarding...it's not on a glacier.

If top to bottom runs with a triple pack of jumps, and 20 rails and boxes sounds like your idea of a good time in July, you'll find it at Woodward Copper.

Johnny O'Connor, Jess Kimura, Scott Stevens and Miles Fallon made the trip out this summer to visit camp for Session 6. On hill, campers had the chance to demo all new 18/19 CAPiTA boards and Union bindings. JOC and Jess even lined some campers up with demo set ups before putting on a session of "Last Man Standing" on the down tube. Congratulations to camper Tucker Brown for being the Last Man Standing and taking home some prizes including a pair of Scott Stevens Pro Model Union Bindings.

Scott wasn't sleeping on hill but he was definitely laid back.

Sleepy Stevens was on hill and up to his usual wizardry. When he wasn't strapped in he was behind the camera filming the team and Woodward campers and staff for his new project, Suzy Greenberg 270 The Movie.

After 5 days of perfect weather, a few sunburns, bruises from dodgeball and non stop shredding, it was time to pack up the demo tent but we're already looking forward to next year. Thank you Woodward Copper campers and staff for one of the best weeks of the summer!

The campers battled it out in a game of Last Man Standing.
